Most storage platforms (with the exception of Google Drive) do not allow duplicate file or folder names. This of course makes perfect sense as having a folder with files or subfolders with the same name is just pure insanity.
To provide for a robust migration, Movebot deduplicates files and folders as part of the transfer/migration process.

When Movebot encounters duplicate names, it will apply a (Dup X) to the file/folder in the destination. This makes it easy to see in the new storage platform and prevents data loss. You an then rename the files or folders as needed post the migration or leave them as they are.
